Casa Azul began with a simple idea: a hotel should have as much personality as the people who stay in it.
Created by Allen Wolford and Chef Sami Rodriguez, Casa Azul brings together the things we love most — expressive design, remarkable food and drink, music, hospitality and the wonderfully interesting people who make life memorable.
What began as a personal vision became our home in Puerto Rico — and an invitation to experience The Art of Living Well.

Casa Azul is personal. So is the way we host.
It is the result of a shared love of beautiful spaces, remarkable food and cocktails, great music, travel and, above all, bringing people together. It is our very personal interpretation of The Art of Living Well—and an invitation to experience it with us.
For us, hospitality has always been personal. We live at Casa Azul in our own private residence, close enough to make things happen, share a recommendation, pour a drink or help create an unforgettable evening—while giving you the freedom and privacy to make the house entirely your own.
Casa Azul is also a reflection of who we are.
As proud members of the LGBTQ+ community, individuality and self-expression have always mattered to us. Our house warmly welcomes guests from all walks of life who share in a spirit of respect, joy, love and meaningful connection.
Beyond the design, the food and the atmosphere, our mission is simple: to create unforgettable moments in people’s lives. To bring people together, to make them feel cared for, and to send them home with stories worth telling.
